	PLANT OF THE MONTH FOR AUGUST Musa basjoo producing a flower. This the hardiest banana. Grows very tall and develops several pseudo stems. Amazing that it is producing a flower considering the lack of sunshine this summer.
*Xanthorrhoea glauca.*	The campanile which forms one wall of the Mediterranean courtyard.
	This the first time Puya mirabilis has produced flowers since developing the Mediterranean Garden in 2001
	It's thirsty work looking after this garden!
*This is really Pegeen's garden, we are only allowed to share it with her. She loves garden visitors!*
	*Acer palmatum Dissectum atropurpureum in all its autumn splendour.*
The fern viewing platform with Musa basjoo	Cyathea medullaris is stunning in January.
